Where would you normally use timber stair risers?
A riser is the part of the staircase that supports the tread (or step).

What is it made out of?
Plantation grown Radiata Pine that is finger jointed.

How should you finish it?
As the finger-jointing is visible, we suggest that it should only be used for painting purposes.
If wanting to stain and lacquer, we suggest using the Vic Ash or American Oak version of the same tread.
